Dr. Federico Vallejo is a board-certified internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep specialist.
He trained at the University Massachusetts and has more than 14 years of clinical experience taking care of patients in the Rio Grande Valley.
Dr. Vallejo is an advanced bronchoscopist and one of his special interests is the early diagnosis of lung cancer. He was the the 1st physician to perform a robotic bronchoscopy in the Rio Grande Valley and to this day continues to perform this procedure on regular basis for the early diagnosis of Pulmonary nodules.
Dr. Vallejo who is also board certified sleep specialist and significant portion of his practice is to diagnose and treat patients with sleep conditions like obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia.
Dr. Vallejo is also an educator, with the use of social media he has been educating the Spanish speaking community for the last few years.
